ESPD
European Single Procurement Document
What is ESPD?
ESPD stands for European Single Procurement Document and is a standardised European procurement document. The document can be created through a free service provided by the EU and, just like our reports, it is a self-declaration document. ESPD is used by public procurement officers and companies within the EU and is a declaration that a company has (for example) paid its taxes and has not been found guilty of criminal activity. Prior to the implementation of ESPD, companies were required to submit a variety of different documents, but now, in an effort to facilitate the procurement process, all necessary information is gathered together via the ESPD self-declaration.

With ansvarsfullt.se you are able to work and create your sustainability reports in a manner that effectively shows how your company works with sustainability issues. These reports and ESPD complement each other very well. As is the case with ESPD, our reports are also a form of self-declaration based on, among other things, the accepted norm within the EU of the responsibility of the individual to provide correct and truthful information. ESPD is an important complement to our reports in a procurement process.

Our model
Our model is based on applicable international standards from which we have derived inspiration and experience within key areas such as quality, environment and social responsibility. The questions in our tool are subject to continuous review by experts – they are constantly refined and adapted, with the aim of making them simple to work with and easy to understand i.e. clear and unambiguous. In order to further simplify the work, the questions are divided into seven different working areas, although always with leadership in focus. All of our questions have been developed by a group of experts and have been subject to subsequent review and verification by a third party.
